The Akwesasne Chamber of Commerce is currently searching for individuals who would like to be on the board. We are looking for
President
- Leads the board and sets the vision for the chamber.
- Oversees board meetings and ensures strategic goals are met.
- Represents the chamber in public and with government entities.
Vice President
- Assists the President and steps in when the President is unavailable.
- Oversees specific committees or projects as assigned.
- Helps manage long-term planning efforts.
Secretary
- Keeps accurate minutes of board meetings.
- Manages official records and documents.
- Ensures communication of key decisions to members.
Treasurer
- Manages the chamber's finances, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensures compliance with tax regulations and oversees audits.
- Works closely with the Executive Director on financial planning.
